What is a focus group anyway?
A focus group is basically a group discussion held by companies to determine your opinion on new products or services they are offering. They are not trying to sell you anything, they are simply trying to see if you - as a representative of your demographic - would buy something if it were available before they pull the trigger and make millions of them. This information is very valuable to many companies and they are typically willing to pay you for your time and opinions.
Who can participate?
That depends on the focus group. For example, some focus groups are looking for opinions from home owners while others are looking for opinions from renters. When you view the focus groups listings on this site, the eligibility requirements will typically be in the listing. If you are eligible, all you have to do is join, show up, and earn some extra cash.
I'm in marketing and hold focus groups from time to time, can your site help me find participants?
